BiPartisan Tour Company started the first electric scooter tours in Washington DC, and it is the only scooter tour of its kind in the United States!
These aren’t the electric scooters in DC with tiny wheels that can be rented on any street corner, our electric scooters are part beach cruiser, part mountain bike or more like a barge or tank when compared to other scooters.
Yet, as rugged as our electric scooters look, they have a chill side as well. The oversized tires are super smooth on pavement and perfect for gravel paths. Classic cruiser handlebars provide a natural upright standing position. The larger frame and wheels can support bigger riders with ease.
What we’re getting at here is that these electric scooters are incredibly easy to ride, and guests with little or no experience riding scooters or bikes can feel comfortable after training for only a few minutes. We even have an over 70 club!

Our Washington DC scooter tours are simply the best deal in town, no other tour in DC can offer this much fun or will see as many attractions as BiPartisan Tour Company does! The only scooter tours in DC with their own fleet of scooters and there are no other scooters out there like ours, often people just don’t know what to call them or may ask you where the seat is. Regardless, the only way to see more than anyone would on a scooter tour with us is to hire a vehicle and a driver. It would likely take you longer and be much more expensive.

Please remember our calendars start on Monday and end on Sunday,
Guests must be at least 16 years old and weigh under 275 pounds.
Shorter tours may be available upon request when other guests haven’t booked the same tour.
Guests may request time for lunch or dinner, food & beverages are at own expense.
There may be sudden stops even at slow speeds when sidewalks and street corners are busy, we strongly recommend closed toe shoes!
Helmets are provided and must be worn at all times when riding an electric scooter.

Parking on the street is free on Sundays and throughout the week guests may want to use the app from the company above to pay for parking, which is sometimes cheaper than parking garages, but guests will need to remember to pay for more time during the tour.
Indiana Plaza is located at the intersection of 7th Street NW, Indiana Avenue NW, and Pennsylvania Avenue NW. Our tour groups meet in this small park with 2 statues and some amazing buildings of different sizes surrounding the area. The central focal element of the Plaza is a 25’ tall granite monument dedicated to the Grand Army of the Republic, along with a smaller statue for the Temperance movement.
Starbucks and the Penn Quarter Sports Tavern are both located across the street from the plaza. The park is diagonally across the street from the National Archives on Pennsylvania Avenue NW, which is about halfway between the White House and the US Capitol. The US Navy Memorial is across 7th Street NW and the Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter Metro Station is in between.
There are many food options nearby due to all the museums, city events, and the Capitol One Arena is only a few streets away, which hosts our local sports teams, concerts, and other functions throughout the year.
The food options listed below are located across the street from the park, Indiana Plaza, but there are many more locations within a few short blocks.
